These Terms of Service govern your use of the Cashforward Membership offered by Cashforward Financial Inc. ("Cashforward", "we", "us"). By subscribing to a package, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not subscribe.
The Cashforward Membership is a services subscription — not a loan, not an extension of credit, and not a deposit product. When you subscribe to a package, you commit to a fixed number of monthly payments (between 3 and 6 depending on the package). In exchange, we pay you a one-time cashback bonus at signup and provide the bundled services described on the Packages page for the duration of your term.
To subscribe you must be (a) a Canadian resident in any of the 10 provinces; (b) 18 years of age or older (19+ in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador); (c) able to verify your identity, your monthly income, and your active Canadian bank account; and (d) not currently in active bankruptcy proceedings or a consumer proposal.
Your cashback bonus is paid by Interac e-Transfer within 24 hours of your first monthly payment clearing. The cashback is yours to keep. It is not a loan, not subject to repayment, and not contingent on you completing the full term — although failure to complete the term has the consequences described below.
You agree to pay the monthly subscription fee for the full term of the package you selected. Payments are processed automatically from the bank account on file on the same day each month. We do not charge interest of any kind.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to reach you to arrange a replacement payment. A late fee of $15 may apply per missed payment, capped at the equivalent of one full monthly payment per subscription. We do not send accounts to collections agencies.
You may cancel at any time. If you cancel before the end of the term, the remaining monthly payments come due immediately; we will work with you on a payment plan that fits your situation. Cancelling after the final payment is free and requires no action — your subscription ends automatically at the conclusion of the term.
We report your on-time monthly payments to Equifax Canada and TransUnion Canada. Missed payments may also be reported, which can have a negative effect on your credit score. We do not control the bureaus' algorithms and we cannot guarantee any specific change to your score.
To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, Cashforward's total liability arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario, sitting in Toronto, except where consumer-protection law in your province of residence gives you the right to bring action locally.
